Don't read this book while on a treadmill. A dozen times during this seductive read, when Frank McCourd unleashed his wit, laughter doubled me over. He gave me uncounted opportunities to giggle. I smiled a lot. And when he was caught up in his Irish-ness, sending a free-wheeling rant traveling down the page, I insinuated myself into his angst. His honesty both hurt and refreshed.
He became my favorite teacher ever.
