Wondering what to do with all that spare change you find in the couch cushions, under the car seat, in your laundry? Been saving coin for years but no idea what you want to do with it? Don’t want to go through the trouble of counting it all? We have the answer to your question; donate it to Playhouse on Park!
Playhouse on Park is once again teaming up with TD Bank for the annual “Pennies for the Playhouse” fundraiser. All you have to do is start saving all that change from now until June 29th. Then on June 29th bring it to TD Bank at 29 South Main Street, between the hours of 8am and 6pm and we’ll count it for free and deposit into the Pennies for the Playhouse account. While you’re there enjoy free entertainment and treats and know that you are helping to support Playhouse on Park, a great non-profit organization to provide quality theatre. There are prizes for the largest individual donor including tickets, and so much more. Donations can be brought in any time prior to June 29th as well.
Businesses may get involved by keeping a TD Bank Pennies for the Playhouse collection container on their counter and encouraging their customers and employees to contribute to Pennies for the Playhouse. The business who donates the largest amount of money will win lots of prizes including a program ad for season three, tickets & wine and cheese reception to one show in the third season for up to 60 employees; recognition on the Playhouse website and more.
The Pennies for the Playhouse fundraising campaign will conclude with a community celebration in Blue Back Square which includes a full concert by the Martha’s Vineyard band “ENTRAIN” On June 29th at 7:00pm. This event is free and open to the public, although optional donations to the Pennies for the Playhouse campaign are encouraged. This celebration is sponsored by Per Se Aveda – Lifestyle Salon. There will be lots more going on at this celebration, keep an eye on the website for details.
