You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown
at Playhouse on Park

The first of two summer musicals planned this summer at Playhouse on Park opens June 15. You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz; book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. Don’t miss the chance to take a peek into the world of Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang for a fas- paced, lighthearted musical sure to entertain audiences of all ages. This 1999 revised version of Charlie Brown won two Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards.

Cast includes: Steven Mooney, Lindsay Adkins, Hillary Ekwall, Dante’ Jeanfelix, Kevin Barlowski, and Joseph Fierberg
Performances are scheduled Wednesday, June 15 at 7:30pm (preview performance, all tickets are $15); June 16 at 7:30pm (opening night, includes a complimentary wine & cheese); Friday, June 17 & Saturday, June 18 at 8:00pm; Sunday, June 19 at 2:00pm (includes a post performance talk back with the cast); Thursday, June 23 at 7:30pm; Friday, June 24 & Saturday, June 25 at 8:00pm and Sunday, June 26 at 2:00pm.
Tickets range from $22.50 - $32.50 with savings for students, seniors and Let’s Go Arts Members. Student rush tickets are available for $10, cash only, 15-minutes prior to curtain. The cast of You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown will perform excerpts from the show at Barnes and Noble in Blue Back Square on Saturday, June 18 from 1:15pm – 2:00pm as part of a day-long fundraiser to benefit Playhouse on Park. Audiences are also encouraged to save spare change as part of the Pennies for the Playhouse campaign running throughout the month of June in conjunction with TD Bank. Contributions can be delivered to the theatre or to TD Bank directly, with a big celebration scheduled June 29. Visit the website for more information.
