Playhouse on Park

a contemporary interpretation of

April 6 - 17, 2011

Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. brings Stages on the Sound's acclaimed adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors to Playhouse on Park.  In this hysterical and contemporary adaptation, the classic tale is performed with four actors playing all the roles. The play centers around the separation and ongoing search between a husband, wife and two sets of identical twins.  Suspense and hilarity ensue before the family is reunited.  This is Shakespeare in its most accessible form.

David Fuller, of, says: "You should go. You will laugh, you will smile constantly, and you will consistently wonder at how in the heck they are able to pull off Shakespeare's complete comedy with just four actors!"

The Comedy of Errors features the talents of Brad DePlanche (The 39 Steps, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Around the World in 80 Days), Jesse Graham (The Rover, Hey God?, A Christmas Carol), Vanessa Morosco (Importance of Being Earnest, Love's Labour's Lost, Julius Caesar, Blithe Spirit), and Brendan Norton (Playhouse on Park's Trapezium, Angels in America, A New Brain).   The Comedy of Errors is directed by Will Ditterline.
